I can't believe they really killed him.
Janelle, Christa and I were all in shock.
After fours years invested in the storyline of Vaughn and Sydney I can't believe its over.

Christa and I may or may not be wearing black to work today in memory of Vaughn.

My first business trip:
Well I went to FLA for my first business trip. I think it went alright. I think I did pretty well since it was only my second week.
Here is the hotel we stayed at:

Unfortunately it was not that nice there this week. Because of the storms down there it rained a lot and was really humid and sticky. But the beach is still the beach.
Couple of highlights:
-My bellman looked like the jerk fiance from Wedding Singer. I kept expecting him to show up in a white blazer

-Cheryl(my coworker) thought I was 23 and a size 2. We all know that isn't right but I have to say it endeared her to me-that is a lady to keep around

-The pastor for the conference last name was Lippy and all I could think about was Billy Madison when he walked in on her during recess and she explained that it was Miss Lippy's time.

-There was a drunk young guy on the plane when I was on my way back: he kept asking people what planet we were on and was wearing some kind of male versrion of a white satin glove that went up his arm.

Exciting update (for anyone who cares): There were rumors of Michael Vartan leaving Alias but Janelle just called and said she read US and that now supposedly they are all lies and he is in for this season. We are very excited about Alias nights this fall.

Some news from the city...
FYI-When I am highly disappointed because our internet isn't working from home yet so I am writing a little from work since I haven't started anything yet.

1-I went to all the museums on my week off: it was like I was a tourist: I went to the art institute, aquarium and planetarium. They had giant crabs at the aquarium-they kind of freaked me out. Seriously they looked like the huge tentacle aliens in movies. Pictures to come later. Um yes, i took pictures like an actual tourist.

2-When I was riding the bus one day this guy kept asking questions about my shoe size and guessing my height. Then he asked for one of my shoes. My answer was no.

3-I started my job and I am definately going to have to put pictures up everywhere. It is just too quiet here-crazy corp cubicles but I am traveling to FLA next week to observe my first event of the kind I will be planning.

4-Our apt. has 3 floors. The other day I was coming home and tried to open my door and was so confused cause all of a sudden my key wasn't working...I was trying to open the door of the floor beneath me..I ran up the stairs before anyone could come to the door to see what was going on.
