Thanksgiving in Missouri:
There are always the normal crazy things such as becky and I telling my mom to make her dress less revealing and mom thinking that even though I got in at like 430 I would want to wake up at 830 to have breakfast. The obvious answer to that was no but all in all some good times.

And I was there for 3 full days so I got to go to the movies with mom and my brother, hang out with my sister and new niece, go dancing with Becky, and hang out with my dad and uncle. Which I think is quite a lot to get in.

Speaking of by "hanging out with dad and uncle" what I really mean is going to a country bar in the middle of nowhere for their own karaoke contest "Clover Bottom Idol". When my friend Justin asked for a rum and coke the bar girl's answer was "we don't serve that here: we have beer, beer, or beer."

Here is my dad's friend, dad, and uncle.

Me and dad: he was real excited we came out and kept wanting to buy us beers, it was cute.

And of course a couple new pictures of my neice:

I put her to sleep:)

Headed home for Thanksgiving:
I get out of work in about an hour which is early than I thought so hopefully I will get home before 2am now.
I will be spending a good 7 hours in the car getting home so lets hope
1-No one runs into me with their bad holiday driving
2-I don't run into anyone with my bad holiday driving
3-I don't fall asleep
4-No one kidnaps me during one of what I'm sure to be many stops along the road.

I'm excited about the food even though my house is a bit crazy. I will be helping however because last year my mom tried to make green bean cassarole with generic soup. I was like "Mom-you could scrape up the extra quarter that it would have taken to get Campbells?"

What I am most looking forward to is playing with my neice:

You Are Likely an Only Child

At your darkest moments, you feel frustrated.
At work and school, you do best when you're organizing.
When you love someone, you tend to worry about them.

In friendship, you are emotional and sympathetic.
Your ideal careers are: radio announcer, finance, teaching, ministry, and management.
You will leave your mark on the world with organizational leadership, maybe as the author of self-help books.

I thought some of this sounded right however I'm not an only child...I wonder what my sister and brother would think. I was however an only child for 10 years so maybe that is where it comes from. I highly doubt I'll be publishing a book anytime soon though.

As Christmas is getting closer I've been thinking about things I want.
Unfortunately all these things are too expensive for really anybody but my parents to get me...so I will probably end up buying it for myself at some point during my shopping for others. Doesn't everyone charge themselves Xmas presents too?

Ipod-I finally got a computer and now I'm obsessed with getting Playlists set up for when I get one of these. (I'm actually thinking my parents are going to get me this for Xmas!)

Electric Blanket-My room is freakin cold.

Alias Season 4-I realize it wasn't the best season but I still really want it

Ticket to Boston-to see my friends

Christmas Cards?
In college I always sent out Christmas cards. In the past few years I haven't really done that so much. I ususally see most people so I didn't feel the need to do it.
This year since I moved up north I thought I would return to the whole christmas card tradition. My question is, how long are people's christmas cards lists? I was just working on mine at work and I have like 60 cards to send out already. All of a sudden I thought it seemed like a lot but I don't want to "make cuts". Does everyone still do this? is there any specific etiquette on christmas cards?

Things I did at work today:
-Updated my Netflix queue to include all of the first season of Lost
-Made a cd cover for my new Laguna Beach Music Mix (yes, I made one and yes it is good despite the quality of the show)
-Added Tony's blog aka Tone Loc to my links
-Bought a movie ticket to Derailed: I am actually very excited about this movie
-My boss may have caught me reading blogs when he came by
-And I may have been trying to do arm lift exercises at my desk...

I took this from Shels blog:
Your Career Type: Social

You are helpful, friendly, and trustworthy.
Your talents lie in teaching, nursing, giving information, and solving social problems.

You would make an excellent:

Counselor - Dental Hygienist - Librarian
Nurse - Parole Officer - Personal Trainer
Physical Therapist - Social Worker - Teacher

The worst career options for your are realistic careers, like truck driver or farmer.

I think I may have did it wrong because I work in an office.
I'm glad they ruled out Farmer though because I was just thinking changing my career path to raising chickens...

New pictures of my neice!
I just got these new pictures and I had to show them off:
Here is her halloween outfit as a princess!

My sister also tried to dress her up as a flapper...a baby as a flapper?

She looks so sweet sleeping.
