Easter Weekend:

So I realized when I looked at my pictures from last weekend they were 98% of Lexi - big surprise.

Here she is getting her present from me: (I realize I'm the only one looking at the camera - we tried like 4 times to get her to look before crawling off my lap and running around again)

Apparently on Easter Lexi can eat any amount of candy she wants, including a giant chocolate easter bunny head:

And finally the annual easter bunny shot. When I was younger walmart had him set up nice with a chair that the kids could sit on with a professional camera. No, not anymore. It was a bunny just standing around in the middle of the aisle (as you can see a cart even got in my way) and then someone comes out with a kodak digital and tells you to come back in an hour...

Day at the Zoo

We went to the Lincoln park zoo last week and it was really fun. I hadn't been in forever. It was rainy outside but we made it through most of it before the rain hit and saw all the indoor animals. Here are some of my favorites:

This is the ape that was in the movie Return to Me with a little baby one. It was cute, like a mini me version on him.

For some reason I thought these flamingos were so pretty

These were three huge snakes all wrapped up together. It was so gross and cool at the same time.

Niki's 21st

A couple weekends ago Becks and I took my sister out for her 21st bday. When I was looking at these two pictures today it kind of made me laugh because they were taken like at 2 am and you can totally tell becky and I are like "it's 2 a.m...we're too tired to be up this late...must be getting old" while my sister is all excited and still like "i'm 21-woo hoo!"-lol
